Verge Modeling Troupe has 2014-2015 President Elections: Members of Verge Make a Conscious Decision for the Future of the Troupe Next Year

On April 13th, the Verge Modeling Troupe elected a new president. Emory Mathews Junior psychology student from Kinston, NC replaced Jonta' Harris and will lead Verge in 2014-2015 "I as president, will take Verge to the next level by making our name great amongst administration and other organizations. When I am done, everyone will want to be apart of Verge Modeling Troupe."
According to the Verge constitution, the presidents’ duties require he or she to make up routines, plan community service, instruct and inform the troupe of any information, teach technique, book places to practice, and shows.
Members of the Troupe have different expectations for the president. "I would like for the new president to broaden our name around campus", says Jaya Robinson a freshman who became a member of the Troupe in Fall 2013.

Two-year-old Verge member Lamar Watford a junior gives his view on the expectations of the new president for the 2014-2015 school year. “ I am expecting the president to get us more shows, less drama, and a productive year as an organization”, says Lamar.
Alexis McCoy is a sophomore, and has been in Verge for two years. She also ran for the president position of Verge for the 2014-2015 school year. Alexis gives her opinion on the expectations of the new President. “I expect the president to be very professional and enhance the business aspects of Verge as well as maintain a fun and enjoyable environment for the models involved in the troupe” says Alexis.


Verge Modeling Troupe was founded by Robert Mercer in 1999.
Verge Modeling Troupe is one of the two modeling organizations on North Carolina A and T State University.
Verge is an elite performance based organization that trains models to execute modeling on the runway.
